Jack Werner is a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey where he majored in political science and minored in English. He has been published by Foreign Policy in Focus, State of Nature, Antiwar.com, the Lion’s Eye, the Signal, and has a pending publication in the TCNJ Journal of Student Scholarship that addresses the mythology of Ronald Reagan. In the future he plans to pursue a graduate degree in history or political theory. He also enjoys drinking coffee, arguing about politics, and reading political magazines such as The Nation.
Matthew J. Koerner is musician and historian from Hillsborough, New Jersey. Matthew discovered at a young age that he had a passion for history, fascinated by the events surrounding the First World War in particular. At age nineteen, Matthew graduated with honors from Kean University receiving a bachelor’s degree in history. He has traveled to over 20 countries in his adventures and is the songwriter, singer and guitarist for the internationally touring rock band Feeny based out of New Brunswick New Jersey. In addition to his musicianship, Matthew maintains a weekly radio broadcast since January 2012 as co-host of the program Occupy the Airwaves on 90.3 WVPH-FM in Piscataway, NJ. The program aired it’s 100th show in early 2014.
Joseph MacPhee is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is also the bassist of the punk rock band Feeny, based out of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Along with his interests in music and technology, Joe also enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and drinking excessive amounts of coffee. He currently resides in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
